Why I think UK is still a good team

Our defense is pretty darn good. They've just had to play way too many snaps. Offensively we are all over the place. I thought that would end this year. We run zone reads with no threat of the QB keeping. Very few middle crosses and switch routes. The o coordinator will make or break us.

The defense is not pretty darn good. The defense played against a pretty darn bad offense. The defense is improved over last season in most areas, but it won't keep UK in many games against good teams this season. The offense would be fine if the o-line was better. It might not be great, but it would at least be able to score some points.

Old adage (Teams that win control the line of scrimmage), that our o. line did not do because of Gators defensive speed! Athletic players with speed overwhelmed our offense. Read where of the nine d. backs that played for Florida their rating out of high school was three 5* & six 4*. They showed that yesterday and I believe only one was a senior!
I'm interested to see Saturdays Gators-Vols match up in the Swamp. Vols had top recruiting class since Jones took over.

I would say I'd be surprised if UT didn't win that game, but frankly I was surprised that UK didn't beat UF.
