Why do we miss so many sacks?

Seems like every game we have the opposing QB dead to rights and just run right past him. This happens more than once a game too.

You don’t need to sack the QB for it to be a positive play. Got a pick 6 from putting the QB under pressure which doesn’t happen with a sack.

I never said it was positive or negative. I said it seems like we are whiffing on more sacks than normal this season. If you disagree that's fine.
 
Often I think it's usually pretty simple...either
1. Good play by the QB setting up the rusher and avoiding OR
2. Rusher has an angle where can't redirect very easily OR
3. Rusher has the time and great angle, but he uses poor technique and doesn't break down properly on his approach, so his momentum carries him past with a simple side-step by the QB

Sometimes in live action it's hard to tell exactly which one it is
