Why Can Skal Not Block Anyone?

The kid has chance after chance to block guard lay ups and can't even sniff the ball. What is the freaking issue? Is his timing that horrible?

He's inexperienced and has a very low IQ. No sense for the game. Just look how he moves his body. People talk about how it's his strength, but that's not at all the problem. He's never in the right place. He moves very awkwardly. He doesn't anticipate well, which causes him to scramble and end up fouling a lot.

Offensively, he's got some skills, but you can nullify anything he does by simply bring a quick double team and he will give up the ball. Sometimes he gets matched up on a 6'6 guy and in theory, he should be able to try a baby hook or shoot over that guy. However, he's timid and teams force him to just pass it and he never gets another touch.
