Who were some of the most underated players to play at Kentucky.

Derrick Miller.....he helped usher in the Pitino 3 pt. era. Dude could shoot!....of course he could miss with the best'em also. But I think people forget how good he really was.

I basically agree with all the aforementioned names, but just to be different i will say Deandre Liggins! The guy was a holdover the BCG days and he was a warrior and of course the corner three to beat UNC!!!!

I'd Anthony epps is up there but one guy that I think is forgotten too many times is cliff Hawkins. I loved watching him as a kid

One of the most tragic IMO and overlooked is Derrick Hord. He was part of one of the best recruiting classes ever and if I'm not mistaken was 1st team. Joe B. ruined this guy but he still performed admirably during the years between the 78 championship and the 84 Georgetown debacle,

One of my all time favorites and has been mentioned several times, Fitch. Was the ROCK of many good and even great teams.

Another player, that went through a lot, is Joe Crawford. Imagine if Calipari had him.

Erik Daniels- the ultimate glue guy
Darius Miller - finally gaining his confidence took us to another level
Travis Ford- kid was pretty tough especially junior year and deadly shooter
John Pelfry- better than most remember
Dicky Beale- turned into a one man disruptive defensive presence in 84 at 5-7"

Darrin Feldhaus-Tough as nails and could shoot the 3.
Anthony Epps- unflappable, tremendous drive and super competitive
Mike Phillips- BRUTE, space eater, rebounder
Dale Brown- Knock down shooter, great defender, losing him in 93 Final 4 was difference in Mich game
Deandre Liggins- Defensive whiz, gritty, confident, changed his game to help us get back to the Final 4 in 2011.

Roger Harden is third in assists for a career and in a season at a time with 45 second shot clock. Leader of 86 team that went 32-4.

Saul Smith, yeah I said it. No, he wasn't great, but he wasn't as bad as people made him out to be.
