Because I’m too lazy and too broke to pay for the premium board, can someone give us a rundown of who we are still after in the portal and also if we can expect any more players currently here to enter the portal? Like to see Baron and that LB from Georgia added to our roster..

Bare in mind the portal comes in 3 waves. We are in the first wave that comes after season ends, the second comes after all the bowls and playoffs, and the third comes in the spring. They've landed some key offensive pieces so far, I expect them to shift more to defense in the weeks/months ahead.

They needed to get Brock and the receivers on campus for the spring semester. They are the first wave.

At my last count, six roster scholarships are open. That is an approximation, since one never knows for sure how many seniors will use a COVID season or who else will leave through the transfer portal. But the number six is about right. We need OTs, WRs, and a CB. Maybe a S. Maybe an edge LB who can rush the passer. These players can come through the portal or as flips into our 2024 recruiting class. In what order they might come, who knows? If forced to guess, I would name DeCarlos Nicholson as a transfer DB who might commit from the portal and Cam Dooley as a S who might join our recruiting class. But there are a number of other possibilities, and I'm not sure all of them have been discussed here yet.

No way Tyler Baron is coming to UK. AFAIK, our coaches are not talking with Marvin Jones.
