Who is your NBA team?

I never could get into watching NBA besides the playoffs but with all the Ky players I really want to find a team to follow. Just wondering who is your favorite team and why they are?

I'm a lot like you. I follow pretty much every UK player in the league. A couple years ago, I started really following the Wizards. Biggest reason is Wall, but after they drafted Beal who is a sharp shooter, they are clearly my favorite team. A lot of good pieces including Nene, Humphries, and Pierce.

Like you all, I follow the KY players and not really any team. Usually watch Phoenix because of Bledsoe, like to see him do well. But like to see all former UK players do well.

My team is the Lakers. Grew up watching them on TV in the late 90's and early 2000's and got hooked. I think it was mostly due to them being the only team on. Times are rough right now but you can't keep LA down nor the Celtics for too long.

Love the Bucks this year. Knight is leading the team into playoff contention; they have a ton of young talent and Jason Kidd looks like he's going to be a great coach.

Wizards are a close second, Charlotte third, Pels fourth.

Die hard Pistons fan since around '85.

Was pumped when they drafted Tayshaun, and am now enjoying watching Meeks every night.

Celtics, followed them since I was a kid and always loved their tradition/history and all the great players they've had there. Really loved the Bird/Parish/McHale years. Hard not to have loved the old Boston Garden too. Sad to see the sorry shape they are in right now but hoping they will regain some glory in the near future. Doesn't hurt, too, that a number of UK players ended up there.

Sixers, but I never follow it anymore. All my pro teams suck big time, and have for decades. Sixers last won it in 1983, Reds in 1990, and Dolphins in 1974. That's a lot of suckage.

Charlotte Hornets, born and raised near there, and they used to lead the league in attendance in the 90's... The Old Charlotte Colisuem used to absolutely rock!!

Which ever team has the most Cats on the team. Until recently, (Cal's tenure) I really don't play much attention to the NBA. I guess if I had to pick it would be New Orleans and Anthony Davis.

i don't have a team but i do like watching the highest level of NBA basketball.

That was spurs last year. Wow.. i never seen such a fluid offense. It was beautiful to watch.

I cheer for whatever team has UK at that time.

Nah, there were plenty of teams on. Reggie was still balling, AI, Pierce, Toine, VC, TMac, and a knicks team that went to the finals were all in one division- there was a ton of talent on, no one had to just watch LA . You're just a homer. It's cool, I'm a celtics fan. I blame all of the ESPN classic bird magic replays in the mid 90s. I swear, those or the 92 game were on every afternoon.

I go to Pacers games on occasion, love Bankers Life Fieldhouse and Indy, but I would say they are my least emotionally invested favorite team.

Lifelong Celtics fan, in mourning now for what they have become. Second team is the Wizards since I lived in the DC area for 20 years and they now have John Wall and Paul Pierce.

I grew up a Celtics fan but I really don't follow any team these days. I check the box scores for former UK players but I cant remember the last time I watched an entire NBA game. I may watch a playoff game but not a regular season game.
