Who in the NBA matches up best against Durant?

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Other than Kawhi, it's gotta be him. He's still a bit too green, but he has the physical profile to compete.

Draymond Green is another, and is the best answer because the other guys all have to shoulder so much of an offensive load that they can't exert the energy it takes to try and defend him. LeBron could do a better job on him than he has, except they need him to get 30+ and a triple double.

I don't think Giannis or our guys (AD, WCS) would have the quickness to stop KD. He would just make a couple moves on the perimeter and pull an open shot like he does on almost everyone in the league.

But that length could affect some shots.

Greek Freak and Kawhi are the best answers today. Brandon Ingram is a dark horse down the road.

Yup i was gonna say nobody. Durant is 7'0. Leonard is 6'7. Two differnt styles. Durant is a top 2 player in the league, you are not going to stop him.....At all unless he stops himself.

UMM might be the answer.

Who matches up well...not who can stop him. No'one can stop him, as he's a top 5 player on every list. I personally think it's between him and Lebron as the best player right now. Size and outside shooting...Durant. Size and power...Lebron. Depends on team needs.

I respect your personal opinion.

You can't just look at KD in a vacuum and ask this question. He is surrounded by 3 other All Stars, 2 of which are maybe the greatest shooters the game has ever seen. You simply can't account for all that firepower by having one guy match up well with Durant.

Curry and Thompson are not even the top 50 of shooting percentages in the NBA. And they are 15th and 19th respectively in 3 point accuracy this season.
That makes them outstanding players and scorers, but anywhere near the greatest the game has ever seen. Their volume gets them the press.
