only thing that stopped him last year was cramps..maybe Briscoe..Matthews and Ulis..all combine to slow him down..Andy Kennedy has never won at Rupp Arena while coaching Ole Miss..I say the streak continues..and hope he doesn't flip off the crowd as he exits....:chairshot:

I hope Dom and Briscoe take turns on him...I don't Ullis near him as he'll shoot over him from deep to easy IMO.

Briscoe and Hawki for sure, but I'd also like to see Matthews get a shot; he's got the size/athleticism to bother him.

To be honest, I'm more worried about matching up on the big Spanish kid than Moody.

Would like to see Hawkins lock him down and build on his last offensive luting. If he slows Moody down, Cal will give him a lil extra run

Oh, not that guy. Yeah, if he didn't cramp up last year, we probably would have lost that one. Probably Briscoe.

In todays game it matters less who guards a player than how a team defends high ball screens. Being able to switch everything is a luxury KY has had in the past.

I think briscoe can stay up in him and contain him as good as anyone

Justifiable to worry about the SEC's leading scorer. If we had that same scorer, we would be touting him.

Briscoe and Hawkins will get the assignment, and Hawkins' effort determines how many minutes Ulis and Murray get.

Would love to see Charles Matthews and his long arms lock this guy down but freshmen inexperience might get him abused

I think we should have a man guarding him either ulis or a combination of ulis and murray/briscoe/hawkins/matthews......

I don't think Ulis is a good option. That would cause him to have to run his legs off. I think Briscoe and Hawkins will get the nod on this one. Maybe try Matthews on him too. I'd try it to see if the size gives him problems.

Why would Hawkins effort have anything to do with Ulis and Murray's minutes?

As I said, we got this. Great D overall...he will probably go off in the 2nd half but the game is over already so who cares.

What a dumb post I made. Ulis is THE option. Absolutely has been all over Moody.

I misremembered Moody's size...thought he was bigger. He was sized just right for Tyler, who wore him out...beat him like a tied mule.
