Idiots for winning a single game after Joe went down. Not helpful at all.

Cool way to end the season. Gotta get healthy, get better on defense in 2024 and run the damn ball like today.

So what do we draft first
Assuming no way Brock is still available at TE, I would like to see them get the Illinois DT Jer’Zhan Newton. Secondary needs to be addressed as well. I still say they likely lose one of Higgins or Boyd so they will back to finding another replacement WR in the draft.

I would look to trade Jake Browning in the offseason for some draft capital. He is an ERFA next year and trade him while his stock is hot. His future is not in Cincinnati long term and no reason to believe he will stick around beyond next year to be a career backup after this decent run he had.

No way Bowers is there at 18. Bengals should have tanked harder.

The Bengals need to beef up the defensive line as it is, Reader's serious injury plus was a free agent anyway. If Higgins splits, Troy Franklin would be nice here.

There are so many needs for this team, TE is a must, could use another RB to spell Mixon. Not in the camp that is ready to ride him out of town. If utilized properly he can still be effective but his workload is always so inconsistent plus Burrow will be returning. Chidobe Awuzie is a free agent and they needed to upgrade the secondary anyways. Also some depth on the edge behind Lawson & Hendrickson.

Dey is not in the playoffs, unfortunately.
They will be back next year and everyone who mocked us this year enjoy it while it last. Just need Taylor to get the starters some reps in the preseason so everyone is ready to start the new season and not spot the division 2 games early on catching up to game speed. Injuries really screwed this season before it even started the Burrow's calf injury.

Not me. He reminds me of Jeremy Hill. Kick McCarron off the team, don’t need the memory of that game.
I never thought about that one time while watching the game. This franchise is in a much better place now and better days ahead once #9 gets back on the gridiron.

If they can get a 3rd or 4th rd pick you consider it otherwise bring him back for $750,000 in the event Burrow gets hurt again. I really don't know how much value he has but if he were to be traded and become some other team's starting QB at $750,000, that would be a bargain.

Bengals don't have a Lawson. Carl last played here in 2020 but I hope they re-sign Chido. He didn't play well in the first year after his injury, but year 2 could get him back closer to where he was.

Ossai is who I think I mistaken him for and don't know why. Really sick today and not hitting on all cylinders. Would like to see Cincinnati still add depth behind Hendricksen & Joseph Ossai like they did bringing in Myles Murlphy with the 1st rd pick behind Hubbard along with Sample. Thought Murphy had some decent games against Minnesota and in the home Steelers loss. Wouldn't mind seeing him as the #2 over Ossai behind Hendrickson when he is out after using a 1st rd pick on him, seems like Ossai regressed this year. Wouldn't burn another 1st rounder on one, would prefer adding a veteran here. As long as Hendrickson & Hubbard are healthy the Bengals are fine on the edge, just looking for some quality depth behind them in the worst case scenario of injuries.

Health will be key for sure and hope DJ can have a full recovery in time for 2024 and maybe re-sign a cheaper contract due to the injury concerns. Read an article the other day with Anarumo saying how much they would love to have Reader back next year.

Proud of the team for how well they did after losing Joe Cool. Not the season we had hoped for, but we did admirable and finished with a winning record.

There is no telling how much of an impact a torn quad tendon will impact a big guy like Reader at 30 years old by the time training camp comes around. If he can recover by the start of the season, DJ's best bet might be to sign a 1-year deal and then try again at free agency for a bigger contract if he can stay healthy.
