Having been to Scot Field a few times you are correct about the cowbells being very annoying
Rocky Top. A girl at my office took a job in Knoxville about a month ago and on her last day I just kept playing a different version of it. Phish is as close to a good version of it as there is.
Rocky Top for me and it’s not even close, fitting it was originally sung by the Osborne Bros out of Tim Couch’s hometown of Hyden. Been to a couple of FSU games, one when they opened the season in the Gator Bowl back in ‘90 as #1 and lost to a Brett Favre led So Miss team. Have to say the Tomahawk isn’t as bad as it looks or sounds, especially when they’re losing.
What would the SEC do if every other SEC team brought cowbells to MSU’s away games? What could it do?
I've never understood why they are allowed to have artifical nose makers and others can't. Something about being grandfathered I'm. Some other school should get those god-awful things they had at the soccer championships a few years ago and make a test case of it.
I completely forgot about the cowbells. Yeah they’re annoying as hell too. The tomahawk chop thing was just coming through on the TV at an annoying decibel and it was pretty constant, it’s what prompted me to ask the question.
