Who gets fired? Who retires?

I think there is a very real possibility that Louisville and Indiana will be looking for new coaches.

LSU maybe? Georgia?

Pastner is probably done at Memphis.

I don't see Jurich getting rid of Pitino unless the NCAA comes down with major recruiting sanctions. He doesn't have the integrity to do the right thing. Jmo

Unless IU goes far in the NCAA this year, I can see him being replaced. Indiana fans have got to be beside themselves. That win in 2012 has just about run its course.

I would have thought Alford at UCLA, but he has been given more time with the win over the Cats.

If LSU fails to make the NCAA with Blakeney, Victor, Quarterman, Hornsby and Simmons, oh wow. Does the AD have the fortitude to make a change? Jones is a former player.

NCSTATE and MG? Is that relationship about over?

How bad would it look for UCLA to can Alford after beating us?

Perhaps UNC will need a new coach as well......Roy has been cheating the system for decades.

Is there a basketball coaches hot seat?

Louisville
Memphis
Dayton
Minnesota

There's no way LSU will ditch Jones right now. He might be losing but he's recruiting and there something they haven't had in quite a while. He will get more time.

Indiana WILL NOT be open. Why? Isn't Crean's buyout like $15MM?

They're stuck with him for at least another 3-4 years.

It's not that much. I wish it was, though.

I remember seeing the numbers last year, and knew he wouldn't get canned due to the size of the buyout, but I think the $ comes down to something that is in the realm of possibility, this year. I want to say around 4 million, maybe? Not cheap, but doable... the boosters might step up if the Whoosiers suck again, and the "right" coach is available.

Tom Crean's agent should be inducted into the negotiating hall of fame based on that contract. The massive buyout has financially handcuffed IU to Crean. I think the buyout money does drop this year, but it's still a big number that would be painful for IU.

I just googled "Tom Crean buyout"--- which gave me tomcreanbuyout.com!!!!!!!!! [roll]

It's 7.5 now, but goes down to 4 Mil after the season in July, 2016. Goes to 1 Mil in July, 2017. Yeah, they'll wait one more year.

Enjoy this season's IUsedtobe suckiness, and next year's... but he's gone after that.

You never know, a new coach could propel the Hoosiers to even greater and grander SUCKAGE!

Nobody could match Crean's creepy SUCKAGE though,
