I thought it was 30 days after the COI meeting, but i guess i was wrong.

I'm ready to throw my 30 year fandom out if they don't get a punishment equal to the crime.

I won't stand by and watch the sport if the playing field is that obviously slanted.

It took 8 weeks exactly for UofL's findings and notice of sanctions to be released. I would expect it would take a bit longer for UNC's since they had a 2 day hearing as opposed to UofL's 1 day hearing, and due to the fact that UNC's violations involved the entire athletic department.

Anyone who thinks the NCAA is complicit in the delays is not paying much attention. The NCAA took an extremely aggressive posture in this case. Perhaps the COI is in bed with UNC, but the NCAA enforcement team is not taking it easy on them.

I am hoping for a complete cleaning of that cesspool, but I know the NCAA will not do the right thing. The entire state may be like that in trying to protect the cash cow of UNChest****. The entire mess there is crazy to think how long it lasted. All the way back to the 50's I think. My gosh you have to be a total scum school to do this to all those African American men and women.

They will have to wait until the never-ending back and forth with UL is over first. Then they have to make sure all players are eligible at Duke and UNC and milk out any eligibility issues with our players. After that, they will start looking back into it and making sure it won't be over until this coming season is done. That will make sure UNC gets another shot at a title before any punishment might be handed down.

I think this is absolutely correct.

Heckuv a first post....strange how the first post is determined and when. I've seen several of these over the past few weeks....since 2012 too....and a ku fan on a UK board...

You would think with the "I don't care what you think" actions of ul and UNC, that the NCAA would have their feelings hurt and would want to show their power, but they are beginning to look like a beat organization.

If they don't do anything to UNC*** then I think they might as well fold the tent and shut up.

In recent years, the KU fans have lots of experience with wrongdoing being swept under the rug and forgotten.

I still think UNC*** will get by with just a slap on the wrist. Way to much money & power from that school.

No matter what happens, I do have a certain amount of satisfaction that the UNC fans who ripped us for years now know deep down that Dean was a complete fraud. That is why so many of them disappeared from here.

Yeah but if what you state is true. It means many of those rags have a conscience and even a few scrupuls....I'm not buying it. (Not your post but their decency(s) showing...)

If anyone thinks the Cheats get any punishment of substance you are fooling yourselves. A little money will be taken away and maybe a recruit here and there. Time will simply sweep it all under the rug.

They will never admit to that or anything else. They still claim that only the women's basketball team benifitted from the AFAM classes

Nope, they will never admit it but deep down inside, they all know it. They ran from this board when the facts came out. My friend, RevHeels, went MIA after this blew up because he ran his mouth about how this could NOT happen at UNC. Even Bubba admits that they committed fraud. He just says that it wasn't technically an NCAA violation. They all KNOW they are trying to skate on a technicality. If RevHeels has any ethics at all, he has to be ashamed of Dean and Roy, etc.

I think that's the thing that gets me the most, a reaction like Bubba. I almost never run into an NC filth fan that protests their innocence now. They are quick to claim jurisdictional immunity. Very similar to a rapist (which is what they serially did to NCAA principals) getting off on Miranda rights or murderer fleeing to a country with no extradition. But, using the sexual predator analogy, no matter whet they do now, we know they are living in the neighborhood.
