When did you start here? Other usernames?

The LMD thread got me thinking... How long have you been here? Had any other usernames? I know this board has changed names/platforms over the years. I started with the last one, but the name escapes me now. I started with a different username back then and was was closing in on 4K posts, if I remember correctly, but got booted for being an early critic of Billy Clyde. What's your history around these parts?

It was really nice not having to wait till the McDonald's All American game while someone was on the free throw line to see what recruits we had coming in 😆

I used to post on another UK forum, the catspause higher ups could see my potential so they tried to steal to me, I was offered a lucrative contract. Signed the deal in August of 2008. We had some contract disputes between 2014-2017 so I was hit and miss being here. All squared away with rivals now, I’m under a lifetime deal

Always had this handle and that board eventually morphed into this one back in 2002.

I've been around so long I remember that @Jeff Drummond STARTED here with this group, tried to leave with others to go to Scout(?), then somehow wound up back home after a very long time.

I never did post a lot, as I would rather see what others have to say. Well, at least I used to. Nowadays, when someone posts there are a couple of good replies then the rest is everyone fighting about what someone said or the way they said it.

Late 1990's....The way I remember it, the guys that are currently at KentuckySportsReport (not Matt Jones KSR) started a board (microTech?) that grew and eventually became the largest and most popular..... but it bounced around several sites before moving from Scout to Rivals. There was an attempt several years back to move from Rivals to 247sports, but almost no one followed, and the Rivals board stayed the largest.

I've had several usernames that go back 20-25 years.....don't remember them all.

I had begun posting on a national basketball web site, Hoop Scoop. Because it was for all programs there were user names like DukefaninJersey, or JayhawkerfromTopeka. So I chose my handle based on that template. When I found the Wildcat Chat board I kept the name.
