H2O couldn't drink alcohol even if I wanted. Not with the meds I have to take to stay above ground.
Hybrid with a nip of Woodford Reserve to ease my broken back. But only a nip. yesterday was 23 years to the day sober and drug / opiate free & NINE whole years since I was stuck in that wheelchair ! Never again, Lord willin' !

I love the fact Kentucky is really flying under the radar this year....
and this team is going to be just fine. Realistically, they will make the NCAA tournament. Win a freaking game once they get there. I say they will even make the second weekend.
NOBODY is going out there that far with this team.
But I am.
11-2 in the OOC conference schedule ? I'm not looking at that schedule, but its difficult, and they will do well.
11 - 7 in the brutal SEC schedule ? nab a a 3 seed in the SECT at that !
heading into the sect at around 22-9 ? ish ? by my count?
I'll say make us a 6 seed in the tournament
everyone else thinks 8 - 9 seed tops, right ? Nah, they're better than that and they will make us proud proving it !
I like this team a lot. I'll go on record now and say they will bow out after making a great respectable run into the second weekend of the NCAA tournament this year.
A much better prognosis and a great year number 50 of my journey with Kentucky basketball.

I stopped craft beer - in particular IPAs - about 10 weeks ago. I may be one of the only people in America that's ever dropped craft beer after 25 years of only drinking it and laughing at anyone who drank "schwag" light beer, for Mich Ultra. I had lost the taste for IPAs and strong craft beers in general.
Now it's just a couple of Ultras and maybe bourbon neat. A perk? I sleep better and have lost 16 pounds doing nothing more than replacing craft with 95 calorie Ultra (they now have an 85-cal), and lowering the volume to just a few per week.
Funny story - when I decided to give it a try, I asked my wife to pick up a 6-er of Mich Ultra so I wouldn't have to be seen with it in my shopping cart.
Tonight it will be 2-3 Ultras then finish with a night cap / end of game Elijah Craig.

I only have one with dinner. It's all good. Different strokes for different folks.

Big ole cone of LA Pop Rocks indica hybrid and probably another cone of either Motor Breath or Blueberry Yum Yum postgame.
Over three years sober. I'm good with water or tea. Not much of a soda drinker. I did get crazy at halftime and had a glass of 2%.
