What will the haters say if we roll A&M by 30?

They almost got what they wanted last night after Ole Miss came in and shot 8% over their season average and 20% over their 3pt average. It was the perfect storm with our guys being off almost 2 weeks since their last game, half of Ole Miss' team playing twice as good as they normally do, awful officiating and our guys' intensity dropping after blitzing them 18-5 in the first 2 minutes.

Still didn't matter. We won and it was just what this team needed to refocus and realize that they have to stomp on the no names in the SEC just like they have to against Kansas, Texas, UNC, UCLA and Louisville.

"They only lost by 21 against Alabama, and ukay only won by 30. Alabama is only 9 points worse than THE GREATEST TEAM IN THE HISTORY OF COLLEGE BASKETBALL"

I'm gonna go off a limb and say we'll see something similar to that.

If we curb stomp A&M, the haters will say that they are a terrible team and it proves nothing. Although road wins in the SEC aren't easy to come by, no matter who your opponent is.

It's true that the SEC isn't a great basketball conference this year but the critics refuse to believe that it is better than they want to admit. UK may be the only school that ends up with a sparkling record but there are 3 or 4 other pretty darned good teams that would give most of the teams in the power 5 conferences all they want.

It is simple really,

If UK wins in a close game then we are overrated.
If UK wins in a blow out then the other team is overrated.

No offense to you, and I really mean that: I promise...... but who cares?

When the Cats are this good.... the teams' play says it all. Death, taxes, and when the Cats are good.. They always gonna' hate.

We're used to it by now, but I know what you're getting at. In conference play we're going to have alot of games where we just can't win in the medias' eyes. If we win, we're supposed too..... and if we loose, we choked. No amount of epic beat-down will change that.
