As many of have said and I have been saying this team has a real chance to have a really great year. I talked about having to get thru the season without injuries, keep the ball bouncing the right way and not be hurt by flags for this happen. Last night we played without several key players out do due to injuries and other issues, we had three bad turnovers and things looked very bleak. I was really down with 8 minutes to go, but for some reason I started to feel like we could do it. The 4th and 3 play for the game tying touchdown was as nerve racking drive and play as we will have in any game. This team proved it has great coaching and a positive "we can" win attitude. Give it to Eastern they took advantage and I'm sure played inspired by the loss of teammate earlier in the week.
We now know how good this team is and also how we don't have the depth we would like to have. We also know about something else - Florida is a pretty good team! We had our chances but we are still 4-1. We may not get those 9 or 10 wins, but I still believe this team will find a way to do it. We know it is going to be difficult, we need to continue to support this team on and off the field - UK is becoming a legitimate football program!
