I like Wes and I kind of agree with him on the weather. I grew up in Central Kentucky and when I moved to Tennessee, I couldn't believe how much more humid and hot it was than just 2 1/2 hours north. On that same note, drivers in Tennessee were infinitely worse driving on snow and ice than in KY where they were more familiar with it. Now I'm in Northern California with perfect autumn-like weather nearly year around, but they don't really care much about football. I guess no place is perfect.
On other things, I think he is right and not just about Tennessee, but I think any team that overlooks UK this season will do so at their own peril. If I'm being honest I think there are three games UK has absolutely no chance of beating on paper: UGA, Auburn, and UT. Outside of those three teams I think every other team is within striking distance. Of those three teams if any one of them overlooks UK it's possible that UK can pull an upset. Where I probably disagree with some on this board is that I think that's actually more likely from Georgia or Auburn than from Tennessee because of the rivalry factor and because most Tennessee coaches know they lose to Kentucky at their own peril. UGA typically drops a game during the season that they have no reason to lose. Auburn will be coming out of the West expecting to beat up on an East division team. No team should overlook UK this season, but at least one will. And that will be Stoops' signature win.
