Honest answer, no. I was hoping this team would’ve ended the 1 seed drought.
Now after the way this season went, I am content with the 3 seed.

No intially, as I though this team could be a 1 seed or a 2 seed. But with the way the season played out my hope was Kentucky ended up being a 3 seed and got momentum in the sec tourney, but that didn’t happen
Kansas (an inferior basketball school to UK in every aspect conceivable) has had five #1 seeds since we last had one
Guess what, they won a title and went to another FF in that timespan. Turns out those pesky regular season games do actually count for something (not that you would hear anything about it from the remaining Calunatics on this board)

This is my point in the poll, we(fans) had no idea what sort of team we would have.
Would we have any size, would Dillingham, Wagner, Bradshaw and Edwards live up to billing? Who really thought Sheppard would be what he turned out to be?
Happy with a 3 and we got the best draw we could get. Cal better get at least 2 wins(if not 3) or he should be replaced.
The way everyone talked about this class, I thought they were just going to give us the trophy before the season started.
But outside of that, typically a 3 see is just kind of bare minimum of regular season success for UK in my opinion. It's puts us around top 10ish. Generally we should be top 5ish with our resources and tradition.
