What is your upset of the day today?

Alabama likes to play good but not great early competition and they have a history of pounding that unfortunate team as well so they probably roll tonight.

See West Virginia, VT, and Michigan as recent examples in '14. '13, and '12. Pretty impressive.

Louisville
Not sure I understand? How can UL be an upset (yes I get the Vegas odds) when all the Vile does is reload the gone NFL Hall of Famers with the next line of NFL Hall of famers?

UL wins by 14 plus today, come on man the Nation is waking up to The Vile.

I know UL is a hated rival, but if you lived around many AU fans you would understand the dislike everyone has for them. Unfortunately almost everyone in Georgia lives around several AU alumni because they couldn't get into any school in Georgia. I don't know of any UL fans around here, so them pulling the upset would make me smile. Lets see what Johnson can do at QB when its his team before anointing him the savior of the SEC. Against us he looked awful, sacked twice and threw an interception when he got in the game completed 4 of 10 for 70 yards and no TDs and looking like a deer in headlights the entire time.

When we have the SEC get together here in Dallas, most AU fans have been cool...it's the UF fans that you want to smack in the mouth....the UGA fans are pretty cool. USCjr fans are just plain idiots

Grumpy - I like a lot of your posts but this one is complete BS!! I lived in Cobb County, GA for 24+ years and UGA fans were difficult to live with. They talked every summer about how this was their year and then after a couple losses they wanted to fire Richt. You all ran off a good coach in Jim Donnan.

My daughter went to AU after graduating from Lassiter HS and loved it! I went to several AU games and they are some of the friendliest people anywhere. I went to the UK-AU game in Auburn that UK upset AU. I had my UK clothing on and even after the game no one said one negative thing to me..

I have attended games at 11 of the 14 SEC schools (have not been to Missouri, Ark. or A&M). I was treated the worst at Ole Miss and UGA .

You are a good poster and I enjoy your perspective on the Cats, but I do not appreciate you coming on UK site and cutting AU. UGA fans would love to have won 1 National Championship and been runner up once in the past 5 years. By the way, I was in the Superdome in 1981 watching Herschel and the Dawgs win the National Championship with a UGA hat on - that was before I moved to GA...

Being part of the AU family, wouldn't expect you to feel any other way. I have relatives who went to AU too, because they couldn't get into Tech or UGA, thats a fact. It also a fact AU was very close to losing their accreditation a few years back, they were on academic probation. Like it or not, AU is the fall back school for north Florida kids, Alabama kids and Georgia kids. I am sure its some kids first choice, but not for a good percentage of their student body. Even 40+ years ago it was the fallback school. for those said states.

People picking UL to get upset really need to learn a few things about lines and rankings.

Sometimes a persons second or third choice turns out to be best thing that ever happened to them. I have spent a lot of time on Auburn's and UGA's campuses and I'll take the AU campus any day. And concerning recent football success, there is no comparison - UGA won a Championship 35 years ago - AU won one 4 years ago and was runner up 2 years ago. Has UGA even won the SEC this decade??

Also, at least AU is playing a Power 5 conference team today versus LA Monroe.... LOL

Is UL favored? I just assumed they were the underdog given that pundits have elevated a barely above-average auburn team to the status of OSU and Bama. If Auburn is the underdog, let me pick again.

Last I saw Auburn was favored by 10 points.

Au fans and Louisville fans are very similar. Both have an inferiority complex. All my AU friends are annoying as fans but solid as people. Louisville fans are like AU fans on steroids.

So your anecdotal experience with a small sample of fans, is more relevant than his anecdotal evidence with a small sample of fans. Ya'll should both realize that fan-bases are composed of hundreds of thousands of people, and the few you encountered may not truly be representative of the larger whole.

Remind me what Auburn did to deserve #6 ranking.

(At Georgia Dome - unless you were being sarcastic)
