What if the UNC, UofL, and IU jobs all open up next season?

Just for discussion's sake, let's assume that the scandals at UNC and UofL force Roy and Pitino out. Indiana collapses as their end of season schedule is brutal, and IU actually decides to can Crean.

Who would be the most likely successors at those schools?

I know Brad Stevens is the fantasy hire for a lot of programs, but he is doing great at Boston. Think he stays in the NBA.

Billy Donovan just got to the NBA. I think there is a decent chance he returns to college at some point. Just not after one year.

I figure the Miller brothers and Chris Mack would be the hottest commodities.

But just how attractive would the UNC/UofL jobs be if they are hammered with sanctions?

How crazy would it be for maybe Kentucky's 3 most hated rivals to have to hire new coaches in the same year?

Hadn't thought about Pearl.

I would think he would be Memphis' top target once they can Pastner.
I could see him at UL(not joke) or IU if Alford turned them down. I don't know where UNC would go if Roy were to be gone then things in UNC would be bad

UNC's coaching pool has always been the UNC "family". Former player. Too much dirt to let an outsider see.

if UNC wants to keep it in the family, the pickings seem slim.

I can see the Miller boys taking two of those jobs.

It will make it very tough on them. Can you imagine Hubert Davis walking the sideline there? [laughing]
