After hiring a coordinator he did not know from experience with, I think he will go back to somebody he knows well and feels like he will know what to expect. I also think he wants somebody that respects him as the man in charge and when gives directions knows they will be followed without contentious confrontation.
This leads me to Coley or Gran. I could absolutely wrong about every bit of this but that's what I think is in Stoops mind.
BTW Lincoln Riley ran the ball more this year than they passed by a good margin. Just an interesting fact I stumbled across.
