I notice every game UK has against Vandy is very odd. I think coach stallings really puts a lot of effort into beating Uk but how in the heck did Vanderbilt play that well. They get a lot of the credit, I realize our guys didn't bring it tonight but if Vandy played like this against everyone they wouldn't have 7 losses right now.
Heck, they lost to Mississippi State. It also seemed like their limited frontcourt dominated ours, we couldn't make any hay in the paint tonight.
There is no way Dakari is a Pro, I love the kid but when he gets the ball in the paint it's just ugly. He consistently gets it stripped or blocked. 7 footers shouldn't get blocked like that. He also needs to get more lift and dunk the ball and make them foul you.
I understand the need to pound the ball but I only saw our best three point shooter take one shot all night. That's not good, he should get 8-10 shots a game. This game isn't close if he gets 10 shots.
Lastly, I hate it when UK plays Vandy, the fouls are always…… lets just say funny.

Wow.

UK shot 32 free throws to Vanderbilt's 12.

We are a team that gets to the line a lot and I'm not saying the officiating cost us the game at all, but as a UK fan to say anything about the refs is laughable.

Other than that, great post.

Vandy fan you can say what you want but when we play yall Stallings uses the same tactic Pitino does . Hack and claw and swat the player instead of playing legal defense . It works b/c you can call a foul on every single possession . I despise playing UL for this very reason and teams that do that . Texas A& M did it was well.

Reif Vandy played like this against everyone

Insert name of any team in place of Vandy, and you have life in the sec.

Freida, it should have been 52 to 12. Vandy fouled on literally EVERY possession I saw. If we had the ball in the lane, Vandy was hacking, slapping, grabbing, holding, you name it. I could sit and watch every possession and call them out for you. Nearly every inside basket should have been an and-1 also. The refs were swallowing their whistles all night and still were forced to call 19 fouls on Vandy. It was actually about 35 fouls.
