The fake injury schtick is chicken s#I+ anyway. We're so ignorant of the rules that we flopped ourselves into the locker room without forcing a final play.
Players don’t fake injuries on their own, they are coached to do so. Don’t mind it going up against an offense like TN’s but there is a time and place for it, the last minute of the game is not it.
It wasn't going to matter but if that's the correct interpretation of the rule, the rule needs to change. Why the 10 second runoff if you are resetting the play clock?
