Is he gonna be hungry now that he knows to get to a big time fb school he’s gonna have to do something real special at uk at least a cfb playoff? I’m glad he has the desire to get to the next level. Hopefully he can help the program take the next step in and next couple years.

Stoops is a competitive man.

He wants to do at least as much as his brother did, which is win a National Title, and might have concluded he cannot do it in the age of NIL at Kentucky, hence the A & M flirtation.

But even that drama was good. He’ll get to tell the recruits he spurned A & M and still let it be known somebody in College Station wanted him.

And Barnhart looks like a smart strategist: he may have nailed Stoops to UK until Ferentz retires at Iowa, simultaneously preserving a heightened relationship with three young men with damn good résumé’s in White, Coen and Sumrall.

If Sumrall has another season like the last two, he will be off the market before Barnhart can even consider him. Troy has been a fun team to watch.

I agree with this.
I really think Sumrall has all the potential and work ethic to be a REALLY GOOD coach at an upper tier school one day.

Someone is going to pull the trigger on Sumrall after next season. It's going to happen and timing is everything.

I’m being honest when I say this might be the most lying, deceptive, ridiculous post I’ve ever seen on this board. You have got to be Stoops girlfriend.

I think Sumrall comes back, here, even if he lands another P5 spot. Neal Brown’s situation isn’t exactly the same as you envision, but I’m 90 percent certain he would walk I-65 back to Lexington.

Then he better gave a CTJM about offense like Bob did. What about Brown in that mix?
