We're in for

JEROME-SIMPSON-FLIP-TD.gif

Tell us more. What do you know? At least are we stealing from decent programs or turds?

He signed his LOI with Florida State already. Unless that was a joke and I missed it somehow it can't be him.

I was looking at the remaining commits last nights, the position of needs that they play, and they schools that had offered them. Still an impressive group IMO. Keep the guys still committed as of now, add a couple flips that you speak of, add a couple of possible jucos, and this could still be a VERY strong class. Stoops and co know what they are doing.

The staff needs to start looking at some of the next level schools who may have gotten some commits from talented kids and pick them off. Every year some really good talent ends up at smaller schools. We need to look at these kids and flip the best of them asap. I don't care if we are flipping kids from directional schools, if they are great talent, we steal them today

Agree. When the players announce themselves on NBC games and say where they went to school.....there are smaller schools mentioned as well as the Power 5

The problem with this is that there is not much great talent at lower levels and the directional schools.

It seems every year some of the big boys take too many commitments and leave some very good players in the lurch on signing day or ask them to grey shirt. I am hoping UK can haul in a few of those. Sometimes it can be good to have a few open SSs on and after signing day.

Josh Sweat is already enrolled at FSU, been there since like Jan 10th. Would be a hell of a flip of Stoops pulled that off....

The positions I really hope Stoops can get are:

- Safety is a huge one to me. We've got to have more of them and better ones.
- Rush OLB...if we're going to a 3-4 base...I'm not sure we have a bunch of good pass rush OLB guys for the future.
- A pure offensive tackle...we're getting a little thin on the depth chart to me at OT.

not if Timmons gets some time there
Timmons wont get any more time there than he did this past year. He is coming off two surgeries and doesn't need to take the extra beating...same reasons he wasn't thrown into kick returns.

It would be awesome to get Josh Smith. It's a long shot but man what a get that would be.

Looking like Custis will flip to UK. Would be a heck of a pickup, he's very underrated.
We're hoping, RJ. Is he still visiting UF this weekend?

Just don't see Timmons being that durable....

Havnt heard about whitlow lately?? Also TN is at 29 commitments with possibly more to come. We should hold a few scholarships then work the phone on signing day:).

I'd sure like to see George Brown come on down. The thought of flipping a four star 6'6 Olineman excites me more than just about anyone.
If George would flip this weekend, he would flip again before NSD, you can bet on that. He should have played basketball for Coach K, he would be a heck of a flopper.
