Great report! Thanks! A couple names of pitchers that I thought would contribute that did not throw. No Marshall or Dobzanski. I know they have had arm troubles in the past.

Sunday was not a good scrimmage for the "starters." Only 2 players, Daniel and Hill hit the ball. Poor performance all around. Pitching wasnt good either.

For sure... Also a pitcher can give up 3 bunt singles or bleeders and it looks like they pitched terrible in the stats.. but in actuality they were good, just unlucky....

I am very much ready for Friday. I don’t know how these weekend scrimmages have gone in the past, but this weekend’s stats seem to be pretty unimpressive. Pitching didn’t marvel and neither did hitting. Looks like the strikeouts are going to be plentiful this year. If those stats are to be believed then there were 28 strikeouts in the two games. That is not pretty, especially given that the stats don’t even take Thompson into account. Hopefully the guys turn it on when they step between the lines for real on Friday. EKU should be a fairly easy lead into the season, and we should crush them.

P.S. I am going to go ahead and get tickets for the 26th. Pretty sure I'll be heading to Lexington to see the first game in KPP.

I wouldn't read into much into it. The weather was piss poor this past weekend in Lexington. The good thing is they start Friday at 0-0 and go from there It's ⚾ time!! Let's go!
