Wednesday CBB games on TV

SEC lines.

Important ones to BBN:

Obviously our Cats need to take care of business vs Vandy.
UConn at Marq could be a good game (if Kolek plays), but unless Marquette loses 3 in a row I don't think we are leaping them (but next game being at Xavier, it's possible)
UT at S.Carolina. If UT wins, that wins them the SEC. If S.Carolina wins that puts them into 1st (via tiebreaker with UT), AND that keeps in play the possibility of a 3-5 team 1st place tie (including UK).
Iowa St vs BYU. BYU already won at KU, so if they could pull this one out also and Iowa St lose at K St, maybe we have a chance to leap them.

If betting were allowed in NC yet (about 1 week to go) then I would definitely take the over (160.5) on our game.

We all need to root for Miss State tonight, as a win would probably push them back into the Top 30 of the NET and give us another Quad 1 win!

Yeah that would be helpful.

I still think a fat ans cocky UT having just won against au, Bama and SC is more likely to fall to UK than one coming off a loss tonight. I know UT winning means they win the league. Sucks

I am 100% rooting for UT tonight. And then rooting BIG for a Miss State HOME WIN against South Carolina on Saturday!

Who we rooting for Tennessee or South Carolina ? I have no idea.
UT without a doubt for me.

-don’t want to play UT off a USCjr loss again
-UT gets more of a hold on the 1 seed out west. If UT loses they are probably tracking for the 2 seed with Purdue in the MW. Making it more likely we get UCONN or Houston instead of Purdue.

I don’t overly care about the results of SECT and any implications on that.

UT getting the 1 increases the percentage we get with uconn or Houston.

If Kentucky can hold a top 4 seed then they are not allowed to be in the same region as Tennessee no matter Tennessee's seed (assuming there are not 5 total SEC teams as top 4 seeds)

So if Tennessee is indeed the #1 seed in the West if we are a top 4 seed we can't go out West.

UT is getting the 2 in Detroit or the 1 seed out West. I think it’s very likely we end up a 4 seed. Illinois can’t go to Detroit with Purdue, the Alabama schools geographically would go to Dallas with Houston, SDSU would prefer west.

Geographically they would give us Detroit, Dallas, Boston, LA. If we couldn’t go to Detroit because of UT it significantly increases the odds of getting UCONN or Houston.

I hate the dumb geography angle the ncaa takes.

I was just thinking if UT is a 1 we have 3 options and 2 are uconn and Houston. If they aren't we have 4 options and 2 are uconn and Houston.

But you are probably right. I would prefer Purdue.

I want to play Tennessee when they are hungry and playing for something. It will prepare us for the NCAAT. Iron sharpens iron.

Of course USC jacking up 3s and can't make them against UT. If refs allow UT play bully ball in Knoxville, will be difficult for Cats to win. Cats will have to be ready for the physicality.

Boy RuppRafters as a whole is pretty dead, considering there's a big SEC game on right now and we play in 90 minutes!

The refs will allow UT to hack, grab, and flop in Knoxville as they always do. We need to be ready for it.

I can't wait for the NCAAT so that we can get away from SEC refs.

Did anyone see the Lipscomb buzzer beater yesterday I have no clue how the refs could blow this call he was 5 feet behind the 3 point line when he jumped and they only called it a 2 pointer. How did it not get replayed and changed to a 3 ? I know they won it either way on a 2 or 3 but still baffling.

Remember Florida doing the same thing in the NCAA tournament to beat Wisconsin he jumped from behind the line and landed like 10 feet beyond it but it is still a 3.
