SEC games.

I really don't want to listen to Jay Williams talk period, much less call a Kentucky game. You can't tell me that he was put on this game just randomly. ESPN likes to do this sort of thing. He is as bad as Kenny Smith, Hubert Davis , their facial expressions change at the mention of Kentucky.

If I can figure out how to sync the radio call with the game I am going to do that tonight, jay williams is to bad at his job to have to listen to him for 2 hours

Glad I live in CT zone...or I would be right there with y'all complaining about a 9pm tip-off.

The Ole Double bubble game between Ole Miss. / Miss. State should be a all out war. Not only for state bragging rights, but BOTH teams are on the bubble. Never thought I would be so interested in watching that game, but with so much at stake, I may have to flip over and catch parts of it.

Bama. KSR said if we beat bama and FL splits with them 1 and 1 we should have tie breaker in a scenario UK and FL are both say 12 and 6. That could be the difference between a 4 and 5 seed.
That's why I asked...I wish the sec would do away w/ that double bye, but as long as it's there we have to take advantage of it

I'll definitely be rooting for Bama tonight. Don't think I care if Bama wins the SEC reg season- I just want to make sure we secure a top-4, ideally a 2 or a 3. So we need Bama to ideally sweep the Gators in the next 2 weeks.

If Bama and Kentucky both win tonight, that's great.

Then on Saturday, realistically, we want:

Kentucky to beat Bama (obviously)
Ole Miss to beat South Carolina (game is @ Ole Miss)
Georgia to beat Auburn (game is at Georgia)

I am assuming that TN beats A&M at home and UF beats Vandy at home.

So then, if this happens (which I think is almost LIKELY at this point, except UGA may be a stretch), the standings going into next week would look like:

1. Tennessee (11-3, holds tiebreaker over Alabama with Head-2-Head)
2. Alabama (11-3)
3. Kentucky (10-4)
4. Florida (9-5, holds tiebreaker over Auburn with Head-2-Head)
5. Auburn (9-5, holds tiebreaker over South Carolina with Head-2-Head)
6. South Carolina (9-5)

We would officially be in sole possession of 3rd place heading down the stretch, with arguably an easier schedule than all of them except maybe Florida.

And Kentucky would likely be projected at that point to finish 13-5, with a loss @ Tenn to end the year, which would almost certainly get us the double-bye to Friday.

Tonight would be a good night for someone to tell Miami that this might be the one to get up for. I know there’s not much time for basketball down there when you’re counting up all that NIL cash, but this is their last chance to redeem anything for this trash season.

At msu after bama won't be a picnic. If we survive that then we should beat Arkansas and candy at home to be 13 and 4 going into UT.

Auburn losing to uga is not something I'm getting my hopes up for. They have a weak schedule other than at UT.

Two wins this week gets the 3 seed buzz going. Taking care of business til UT is critical. Lose to UT at their place it doesn’t move us, unless our guys also slip and drop first round of the SEC tourney. Selection committee would absolutely drop them to a 4, probably fairly. Win out through @UT and we start to enter the 2 seed convo.

Wrightsell being out has been pretty significant for Alabama so far. He’s shooting 44% from 3 on a high volume of attempts, and his absence is forcing some of those looks to go to bench players who are nowhere near as reliable as shooters.

Miami has just quit on the season. They have talent so no excuse for their sorry effort.

Look at Coach Tom Freakin' Crean spreading his wisdom on eSpNU tonight!

Look at him IUsedtoBE fans...the man is rockin' it! And you IDIOTS got rid of him. 😀

Oh, Louisville is losing again...
