Yikes.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we led SEC in penalties now as well.

Stoops needs to find some scapegoats on the staff and quick

At least Leary was the best quarterback in the portal… we got him. The whole bunch of players we have in “skilled” positions suck, short of Davis. I do not care for Leary, or any receivers at this point. The only saving grace on the offense has been Davis. This offense is offensive. That includes the staff that puts the product on the field.

It is hard to argue with what you have said. I think we need to find a way to use DSK a little more. He can play SEC football.

Woodard needs FIRED today!!!!

Bring in a competent WR coach that holds his players accountable for drops and can recruit.

Imo he doesn't need fired because he's almost surely our next OC however....there needs to be some real soul searching between him and coen on how they're going to handle the wr play. It's completely atrocious in all aspects when it was much much better last year with a one read and sack/run QB and we (unbelievably) have a much better RB this year.

A big part of it is we aren't running concepts that make use of the wr skills we have. Brown is the worst competing for deep balls, yet he gets them all. Key gets all the mid/short stuff. Tayvion, after quitting last year, gets basically nothing and abs just drops everything.

Soul searching is whether or not they have the guts to hold these guys accountable and stick them on the juggs for hours until it's corrected. It also means coen asking himself if he really needs to take forced shots to brown when we're averaging 9 yards a carry and whether he needs to forgot about NFL showcasing so he can go to last year's route concepts to let these guys perform pursuant to their skillset

Jmo but I think jutahn already decided to transfer or has left the team giving up football. I don't think we saw him vs Georgia or last night, so he only played his 4.

Demi is much better for what we're doing, donuts just an observation we're down one guy. Will probably be down another in wright after the season because he isn't an outside zone guy either.

And this should highlight why Leary doesnt deserve the heat he gets .. YES he's missed some throws .. but hes working with a group of WR's that should be playing soccer or hoops . ( yes thats an insult to true tough grid iron guys). Leary is tough as hell , not known for any running at all , but I saw a lot of grit and " want to" in that 3rd and 14 scramble . Guy is NOT our problem . I think the team has tons of holes ,mostly mental , and too many soft , ego driven , prime-o-donna's , more interested in $$ and being cool than winning . Starting with talented guys that dont perform like B Brown .

My biggest problem with Leary may just be on Coen, but I really thought he would be able to read the defense Pre-Snap and find the right guy to throw the ball. BUT, he has NOT been good at all in this area. I have been to every game live, except UGA, and he doesn't pick up where the blitz or even straight up pressure is coming from. That in turn causes him to either panic, throw a bad pass or take a sack.

3rd and 14 scramble

That was a helluva run from in a midseason game from a guy with an eye towards the NFL and recovering from major almost career ending injury. He completely sacrificed his body for that first down. Major kudos for sure on that play. Contrast that with a wr that refuses to get upfield and even fumbles in the process of trying to bounce.

I liked the QB run add ins. Leary showed better mobility than most thought. I like it only in spots because we definitely can't afford for him to go down

Guess we had quite a few WR’s transfer, looks like we are stuck with what we have right now.

If we don’t pass the ball we will never get any Really good receivers. So, we need to throw it some, hopefully next year we have a good QB and better receivers. We looked better when we had a WR as QB, at least he wasn’t afraid to run the ball. Leary seems like he is afraid to get hurt and plays that way.

Good receivers and good talent are two different things. We have good talent they just aren't good receivers with arguably the exception of key.

Last year, the wr corp ran much better routes, caught the ball much better, and were much more polished. Woodward was the coach then too.

The only way to turn good talent into good receivers is with accountability and expectations. Coen lacks that voice so far. By contrast, scang was apparently too hard because tayvion literally quit and other guys were on the way out. So we need someone to find a happy medium

We are also dead last in plays per game at 55.3. Not running a lot of plays gives you little room for error, which we don’t have.
Yeah, but then the coaches wouldn't be able to bitch about the new clock rules affecting them so much. As if running more plays is completely out of their control. They'll continue to lie to the fanbase saying they really do want to run more plays all the while having no intention whatsoever of doing it.
