So you like money better than winning?yep nothing like throwing money away
You have been throwing our team under the bus all season.Immediately.
so you think giving up all that SEC money is going to help our program? So you like money better than winning?
Duh! outside of those years Clemson made some noise, the ACC over all is at best the third conference in strength if they are that.Immediately.
I mean we could go tear up the Sun Belt if that's what you want.So you like money better than winning?
Geez dude. Dumb statementSo you like money better than winning?
Why? The thread was made in jest, but I’d love to be in the ACC. I could care less if we make more money for women’s volleyball.Geez dude. Dumb statement
If I have to explain to you why money is important in college football…Why?
A lot. Like I think something like $15 million more a year to play in the SEC vs the ACC.Not sure how much money we might forfeit with such a move?
We would be at the top of that league in every sport.
Except 1.
If as a football fan and demand 0 or 1 loss seasons the ACC is the ticket. Maybe a legit shot in the soon to be extended playoffs.
Not sure how much money we might forfeit with such a move?
Yeah, a lot of unhappy UK fans with the win today. SMH. And leave for a conference that pays $12M-$15M LESS than the SEC? Yeah, that's it....that's the ticket. You have been throwing our team under the bus all season.
Kentucky founded the SEC. And the Southern conference before it. No thanks.
I think it's more like $30 million. FSU and Clemson want out really bad.A lot. Like I think something like $15 million more a year to play in the SEC vs the ACC.
And that gap is only going to get wider starting next year. Especially when the ACC either dies or goes down a peg and can't get nationally televised games.
Louisville would trade places with Kentucky in a heartbeat to jump to the SEC if they could.
acc names? Tardville? LMAOLet's not even bring up that we get most of the recruits/coaches we do because we're in the SEC in the first place.
It's not like Kentucky can dominate on name alone going into the ACC.
I look forward to the day when they're headed back to G5 when the ACC folds.acc names? Tardville? LMAO
Wrong. The ACC is historically miles ahead of the SEC in basketball. For decades until recently, this conference has been a recreation league for basketball. Rupp knew this and took advantage of it. Years ago, basketball fans would have rioted if we had switched to the ACC.I'm sorry but that's nonsense.
Acc has way better baseball programs than us and women's basketball and men's basketball would be a toss up most seasons. We wouldn't be at the top in football either.
Honestly, outside of the Orange type bowl, they’re all equally pointless. We would have a better opportunity for bigger bowls that actually matter. And who cares about big matchups like UT if we always lose? I doubt their fans see it as much of a rivalry…probably how we see Vandy.Honestly I'd hate that. Our record would be better but would much more difficult to get hyped up for UK-Boston College, UK-Virginia, etc. Seems like every SEC game is a huge game that I can get really excited about (outside of Vandy). Also if you're not making a NY6 bowl in the ACC the best you can hope for is the ReliaQuest or Gator Bowl. If FSU doesn't get into the playoff and gets the Orange Bowl instead, Louisville might end up in the Gator Bowl even after having their best season in years.
No, but UKAA sure does ...So you like money better than winning?
Uh, no.And would still be in a great basketball conference.
Agree about UT, but even games like UK-FLA, UK-Mizzou, UK-USC are really really fun. I enjoy being a part of the SEC even if we could win more in the ACCHonestly, outside of the Orange type bowl, they’re all equally pointless. I agree but the basketball side would be better, and we’d not be bottom of the barrel in football. I tend to only watch SEC football though so that would be a bummer to have to watch teams like Virginia.Agree about UT, but even games like UK-FLA, UK-Mizzou, UK-USC are really really fun. It’s called sarcasm smart guy. I wasn’t actually advocating for moving conferences. One simply does not wish to board a sinking Titanic. Dumb.
Has to be a rival fan.You have been throwing our team under the bus all season.
Must be. It couldn’t be a frustrated actual fan. Real fans accept losing and build statues for 7-5 seasons.Has to be a rival fan.
