The offense short of our RBs let our defense down tonight. All offense jobs should be reevaluated on Monday. QB needs to be changed. Towles was awful once again. For god sake New Mexico state played better on offense than we did. And there were plays to be made but we are dropping passes and our QB is throwing the ball 6 feet over the head of a 6'6" receiver. Pathetic.
This loss is all on the offensive line no pass protection or holes to run through Patrick not accurate pressured on every throw
when did Stoops hire Joker and Sanders? I thought we had an offensive wiz from West Va or somewhere. This is truly amazing.
OL can't protect, QB Can't accurately throw...and if those two things actually miraculously happen, then the receiver can't catch. All three taking place is the equivalent to the stars aligning.

Mizzou's secondary isn't even close to being as good as Florida's. Their d-line is alright, but not anywhere near as deep as Florida's, which matters a lot.

We knew coming into the season that our O-Line would not be great. Therefore, you need a QB who can compensate for a bad O-Line by thinking quick on his feet and making things happen with pocket presence.

Amazing isn't it how fast we've gone from thinking our offense would be great, and our D the problem to where we find ourselves this morning? Going into this game with the weapons our O seemed to have, if you'd told me UK will only allow Florida 14 points I'd have said let's start the victory celebration now. Sure they're a good team, but I thought we could put up more than 9 points on them. I swear, I think this streak is becoming a curse.
Do you risk losing the season due to bad QB play, OL and Play calling issues aside. Do you go into locker room and look at Defense and other players and say we are going to ride Pat. Is Barker that far away or Pat that much further ahead. QB is one of 11, don't care about his confidence or hurting his feelings. If a WR makes a play in 1st quarter and the QB play was a little better than UK wins that game by a TD, Dawson's play calling on goal line was bad. Everyone is giving Fl. way too much credit, hell OLe Miss QB was a JC transfer, Patrick has been in this program for 4 years. He is same QB that he was his frosh year.
There is a fundamental lack of faith in the QB position from the coaching staff. I said after SC last week. The coaches are afraid to put the ball in the QB's hands and any team with a shred of film can see it. This goes back to last year and now it's two different OC's who have the same thinking. Of course it isn't all on Towles thanks to drops and bad OL play but for all the hard line Towles supporters ask yourself this one question. If the coaching staff doesn't have faith in the QB then how does the players? This could be the reason for some of the drops and some of the poor OL play. Confidence can make a world's difference.
I can't tell you if Barker is the answer. My guess is no, or we would of seen him at one point in this season already but if Towles goes into or stays in this funk, it can't hurt any worse to throw the kid out there for a series to see what happens

IMO, the offensive play calling has been the worst I've seen since JOKER PHILLIPS called our plays. DAWSON is 'in way over his head'.... somebody needs to get him some help...or get UK FOOTBALL some Offensive help.
