We have turned into one heck of a team and we have done so without Poy. I now honestly believe we are the best in the country and will make one heck of a run in the tourney. When you factor in the officiating ( which is the worst I have ever seen ) and our injuries this year, along with a lot of misses in early recruiting Cal has done a masterful job with these kids and the kids themselves have for sure answered the call. this team will always be special to me.

We are a good team without Poy, that doesn't mean we are still a good team with Poy back.

Must have missed the game last night. [eyeroll] He stepped in and maximized his opportunity. Us getting better has had nothing to do with Poy, Willis, Hawkins, Humphries or anyone being out or in. It has all had to do with Tyler Shut-yo-mouth Ulis. He's running this offense from start to finish and he's making everyone better in the process.

This team is very different from last year's team. We are very good but will not be able to impose our will on teams with imposing front lines. This group has to win with grit, intelligence and determination. Not that this team can't win it all, but there is very little room for error due to our inconsistent front line. We just don't have the big dogs inside to clean up offensive and defensive mistakes like we have enjoyed other years.

This has turned into a pretty good team, just how good remains to be seen.If we are as good as we think there is no reason that we can't run the table in these last 3 regular season games. The SECT could be interesting,it looks like LSU has folded their tent(it didn't get up all that well anyway) Vandy could make a little run and UT might spring a surprise or two

Thinking about it the other day. Cal isn't getting the credit with the squad that he should be. With the injuries, lack of front court development, and running with 3 PG's this ranks up here with one of Cal's better coaching jobs.

Agree,if we close out the year in any decent form at all Cal has done probably his best coaching job here to date.

Kinda reminds me of the 2014 UConn team that had excellent guard play and an adequate frontcourt. Hope the outcome is the same.

What I want to see from this team is them making game winning plays in the clutch. We have had chances to win the last 3 games that we lost, and we didn't do what was needed. I think that is the final piece of the puzzle for these guys.

In the last half of the season we have had chances to take big steps on several occasions. We have improved but haven't made the big push to get in the top 10.If we can close out with 3 regular season wins we might make the top 10.Two of the games are in tough places to play but are winnable games. If we have truly improved and are as good as we think then closing the deal will prove it to everybody. It starts with Vandy ,go in there and get a win and we begin to serve notice that the Cats can make a deep run.
