I realize he may be behind in route running and blocking, but you would think they could figure out a running play to give him at least a shot at breaking one.

Barion is a receiver. He catches passes and returns kicks. We have a pretty good Rback, right?

Anthony and White are being redshirted.

They can play in up to 4 games and still redshirt I believe.
Yes, that is the rule. They are receivers. We have one of the best Rbacks in Kentucky history. Speed is important but there is more to football than giving the rock to an inexperienced 160# kid with speed. We want the ball in CRod's hands.

I’m not talking about making him a RB. I’m talking about one or two stretch running plays, a reverse, etc. CRod can’t run the ball every time and he’s no savior, especially behind our O-line. Plus we don’t have quality backups so no loss there.

If Anthony truly has world class speed I doubt he ever plays much if any football. Olympic athletes make a helluva lot of money.
😂 seriously? No they do not, the opposite actually. Unless you’re like the 1% of athletes like Simone biles or Phelps the gold medal is the most valuable thing you’ll get.

  • Income depends on event; sprints and marathons competitions pay the most.
  • About 20% of top 10 American T&F athletes make over $50K annually.
  • Less than $15K annually is what about 50% of T&F (Track and Field) athletes who rank in the top 10 in the U.S. This is from all sources: sponsorships, grants, prize money, etc.). Anyone below top 10 ranking in the USA likely has little to no income or funding from their sporting activity.
  • The top 10 runners in the world in this sport can earn $100K annually, while the top 2 can do far better.
  • Runners in the 11-25th positions range from $10K to $60K annually, either doing moderately well in a given year or poorly.
  • All other runners below these rankings tend to have other jobs.
  • Top triathletes can make $50-100K annually. Some make over $1M annually (e.g., Chrissie Wellington and Chris McCormack.) The rest might top out at $20K.
“20% of the top 10 T&F Athletes make over 50K.” That means TWO, read that again TWO, make over 50K. That’s definitely not “a helluva lot of money”.
