It’s 8:40 pm EST on NSD, and we are 13th on Rivals, 13th on one OS, and 14th on another.

I’d say we ended up about 13th in recruiting for 2022, easily our highest ranked class since such rankings have been available.

And we added three former HS Rivals 4 Star players, so far in the transfer portal.

Not a bad day.

We finished 5th in the SEC. Our Class would be the 4th best in the Big Ten, a close 3rd in the ACC, 3rd in the Big 12, and easily the best class were we in the PAC 12!!

Vandy’s class ranks ahead of Oregon’s and Miami’s on Rivals. Vandy was the SEC’s lowest ranked class at 33rd.

Congrats, SEC just got tougher.
Vandy easily beat out the “average” ACC Class, which is about 50th.

The SEC just had the best recruiting year in it’s history, with the top three classes, and 14 of the top 33.

The compression of talent to the SEC continues to grow.

I haven’t done the math, yet, but Vandy’s class will also beat the average of the PAC 12, and maybe the Big 12 and be darn close to the average of the Big Ten.

Wth does Missouri offer...
I was impressed on my one visit with the huge “M” made of limestone rocks. It had to cost $200.00 and makes a damn uncomfortable alternative seating arrangement, but looks kind of nice.

I’ve seen a lot of flat, boring mid-western cities, and Columbia is one of those.

Who knows what kids are thinking, but Drinkwitz must be a good salesman.

Oregon had a top 10 class before Cristobal bolted. They had 16 decommit, including one 5 star and 10 4 star guys.

Miami is 35 on rivals. 14 on 247

I have said for years it's much more about relationships than wins. Of course FIL has changed that now, but Missouri is the home of Anheuser Busch who has never been shy with their ad money and sports.

AB no longer a stand alone company. Has an overlord, InBev, HQ-ed in Belgium.

Interesting. I wonder if the NCAA has regulated or will regulate drug and alcohol NIL deals.
