There o-line is not good. Something as basic as a stunt is causing big problems. Qb's getting hit early and often. Playing this one third is a big break for us.

Wow! Starting a bunch if new guys on the OL, I think over 600 yards of offense isn't too shabby, no matter who they played.

It's simple numbers. UF has better players in numbers at most positions. For UK to win, Towles has to have the game of his life. His weak passing and missing receivers will be picked off against any team with speed and quickness at the DB position. Just my opinion.

Beatting NMSU was never in doubt. The qbs getting knocked around is a suprise.

If we line up with Baker, Bone, Juice, and Badet/Timmons, Florida, or anyone, doesn't have the talent to shutdown all 4 without putting 2 safeties back. If they do that, it's 5 on 5 up front and Boom/Horton/Jojo can make them pay.

The key is whether or not Towles can make accurate throws....big question mark at the moment.

Towles cannot. He's showed that over and over. There lies the problem.

The fact that the o-line was that bad against arguably the worst FBS team in the country has to be keeping McElwain up at night. I thought even UK's o-line looked better than Florida's and I'm just not happy with UK's o-line play at all.

I don't know, Vernon Hargreaves, Jalen Tabor, Quincy Wilson, and Brian Poole is a very talented foursome of DBs.

Florida put up 70 on the team they played before us last season IIRC. Little of it, good or bad, really means anything.

We're still beating them.

I think we can beat them but they are better than last season. I watched them play and their DB's are very very good. Their QB play is much improved but had to make quick reads and throws as protection broke down several times. Their D is legit as NMSU usually had to make circus catches to move the ball. Their QB made very quick reads and threw the ball much of the night in very small windows where only his reciever could make a play.
Hopefully with our team with a big win over SC has a lot of confidence and looking for revenge. I think blitzing the outside lb and hitting the QB hard will rattle his cage a bit and will make him throw more erractic.
