Watching Fresno St at UNLV

horrible, simply horrible!

Zimmerman this year has had a rash of injuries and ailments to start the season. He only looks "fair" to me.

I'm a big Fresno State fan and the Bulldogs played a whale of a game. With 11 minutes to go, they had 6 players with 4 fouls and still won against some awful officiating. MWC is a very underrated conference quality wise and this year (like all of college hoops), it's wide-open.

Zimmerman showed some decent skill, but just like Wildcats fans suspected, he cannot rotate defensively to save his life. We are talking Wiltjer-like slowness defensively. Still, he's got decent feet offensively, good hands, and he can hit jump shots. Overall, I'm glad we didn't get him.

I watched some of the game and had similar feelings in terms of not getting him. But, I also thought about his mother and wearing the Kentucky shirts, the misleading behavior, etc. I hope they are happy in oblivion.

IDK but the kid is putting up something like 8 and 8, certainly brings more now than a certain other post player of ours.....Tomas Bryant would have been a welcome addition too.

Looks like getting Zimmerman isn't going to help UNLV's coach (mom's buddy) from getting canned sooner than later.
