Potential new NIL rules could make walk-on positions disappear. I don't know if this has anything to do with these transfers. If it does, then that is unfortunate, I always liked having the walk-ons available to come in at the end of blowouts.
We don’t need walk-ons really, unless we aren’t using enough schollies. Let’s add more. I’m greedy. Hawthorne is a good one. Any other freshman out there like that one kid Cal got that one year? Hart maybe was his name?
I agree it's great to see those kids get into games and score. If it's a home game it usually blows the roof off the place.

I thought they counted towards the final 15 allowed. So right now we have 13 and 2 of our Walkon's leave opening up 1 more spot for sure.
And our 12 and 13 are basically Perry and Noah who both played a decent amount of minutes in crucial times. Pretty telling about how loaded and deep we are when that’s the case.
I like the story of some walkons though, like Zach was this year. Sometimes you get a good dude that just wants a chance to play even for 2-5 minutes a season. I'm cool with that. They can be good off floor leaders and help in practice. It's definitely a "want to" position but I still like the idea of having walk ons.
