What is the deal with Skal? Attitude? He was a non factor last night. Will he return to Kentucky? Huge risk to use a lottery pick on based on the way he has played but we know the NBA looks at potential. He sure looks like he could use another year in college.

Ever notice how every time we lose in the SEC one of their fans come over and finds some reason to post, when all it really is, is gloating. That's sad, because any program of any account wouldn't need to do something like that.

I'm a pretty easy going guy. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. You don't know we have discussed this here and throughout BBN extensively. From every angle and point of view. This is one of the busier boards in college sports. So you'll just have to live with it if we choose not to get into with a Vol fan.
As I said, you came up with a BS reason to post, the day after our game. I'm sure you are really concerned about Skal.

Whenever we somehow squeak out a win against an SEC powerhouse in football, do any of our fans go to their boards and post 'Wow, great game guys!' or 'Hey fellas, let's talk football here, what's the deal with your under-performing RB?'

Just another post from an opposing team after the upset. Everyone in basketball knows what is going on with Skal right now. It has been discussed so much by the Media and the Experts about Skal right now and struggling at Kentucky right now. The bottom line last night is that we came out looking like the team that has been playing great ball in last 4 games and with Briscoe's layup we were ahead 34-13 around the 5min. mark. Then like at Kansas in mid 2nd half last night at the 5 min. mark here comes the Fouls and UT has a 10-0 or 12-0 run and the lead quickly melts from 21 to 8 or 9 points in 2or 3 minutes and end up only leading 6 at half. We should had a 20+ lead into the locker room and that would had been about lights out for UT in 2nd half. The horrible 5 minutes at end of 1st half killed UK and gave all Momentmum to UT heading into 2nd half. The 23-8 run at end of 1st half was horrible and our Offense just went South on that run. We looked awesome in the first 15 minutes of play and scoring 34 point to UT 13. Then UT goes on a terror at the 5min mark and outscores Kentucky 71-43 for the remaining 25 minutes.
Man, I work down at University of Louisville Hospital near the Pharmacy dept. we have a bunch of pharmacists from both UK and UT since both have strong programs. Never seen so much gaudy puke orange jackets, shirts, lanyards. Probably pulled out their camo UT boxers. Blah!!!

I talk sports. Not crap. About the game last night the only thing I will say is Kentucky made a huge mistake not zoning Tennessee. It is not about Punter. It is Moore. He is only 6'4" but he might be the best athlete in the league. Playing man you allowed him to beat his man off the dribble. Against zones we sit back and jack up 30 threes. I think Cal made a big coaching mistake last night. I bet Kentucky plays zone next time. I expect a much different result too.
Tennessee got back in the game by driving it to the basket and getting fouled. Then making their free throws. Kentucky zones it would not have happened. Jmo
Correction, UT got back in the game with help from refs... I will say that UT has lost some close games this year and don't expect them to make the tournament..

UK is a basketball school, they chase titles every season. UT is a football school, you guys just hope to stay off probation and dream of the good ole days. You're irrelevant in both sports....i wish we could trade you for NC State.

My point being the first 15 minutes Kentucky takes 34-13 lead and hardly any fouls called and nothing from the Free Throw line. At the 5 minute mark till Halftime UT hits 15 from 15 from the FT line and hits Two 3's and One Basket for the 23-8 run. Up to the 5 minute mark fouls were not a factor and FT shooting was non-existent for Tennessee. The refs seemed to call once again Touchy Fouls that so many didn't even look like a foul and thats how its been in last 2 games in these losses. Kansas game they hit 30/47 FTs and Tenn. hits 30/34 so between the 2 games the opposing team goes to the line 81 times and hits 60 FT's for 75%. In both games Kentucky outscored both Opponents Kansas 71-60 and UT 60-54. Free Throw attemps and FT's made have kill Kentucky in last 2 games.
That was point Vol fan is that once the stripes starting calling fouls and UT getting to the FT Line that is when the Momentum switched to UT and hitting 15/15 in last 5 minutes of Half is unreal!
