I don’t think either played, unless it was special teams. The participation reports on the TCU and CU sites say Smoke played. He did not get a touch on offense. Neither mention Tisdale.I don't think he or Smoke got much PT and if they did they didn't log any stats.
According to the idiots behind me at the game Saturday Smoke was a better back than C-Rod. She also said they needed to quit handing the ball to Ray Davis because it wasn't working. Yep the same one who gained 112 yards on 14 rushes. 😂😂Man...pretty brutal reality setting in on Vito (I think Smoke always was a decent but not standout RB in college).
But Vito acted like he was all that and a bag of chips and if you transfer and still get no clock (albeit on a bad D unit in Colorado)....you better be gettign ready to be a normal person to earn a living.
But in the end....was Vito really that talented? Or do we live off his 4 star HS rating more than production in college?Kid had tons of talent and would bring the wood, hate to see some of these guys throw it all away. Hope he gets his head on straight someday.

Agree. Plus, Vito had a tendency to play on the ragged edge and pick up a bad penalty way too often. Definitely let his emotions get the better of him whether it was trash talking, hitting just a hair late after the whistle, after the whistle pushing, etc. I was always on the edge of my seat dreading the inevitable flag that would be thrown at some point when he was on the field. Made some plays but, in general, did not play smart or with poise. But in the end....was Vito really that talented? Or do we live off his 4 star HS rating more than production in college?
VIto was an aggressive DB and brought some wood. But going into his 2nd year he was still not able to start over Geiger, Ajain or Corker as safety before he got hurt. Those were solid safeties (I would argue Ajian was never really good IMO) but were not talking Mike Edwards back there to beat out.
UK was toying around with VIto as nickel. Maybe in time VIto would have matured later in his career into a really good college safety....but to still not be playing on a bad Colorado D....maybe he never was his rating out of high school.
He laid some wood, ’the first or second play of the Citrus Bowl vs. Iowa, hurting himself.Made some plays but, in general, did not play smart or with poise.
Vito's resume was:Vito was dismissed from UK’s team. Maybe he transferred to the wrong spot or is hurt.
I think his pt was limited by his attitude and his injury of course. I can remember a couple of personal fouls because of his mindset, maybe that was happening in practice idk. I did see a fast and pretty talented guy when he played, especially against the run and his aggressive blitzing but he was like a train out of control. CMS has always said if you don’t buy into the program then you’re going to ride the pine, that could have been the case here imo.But in the end....was Vito really that talented? Or do we live off his 4 star HS rating more than production in college?

Yep. He reminds me of Jordan Jones, who was playing with a lot more discipline by the end of his career here.Vito is a Kentucky kid who had great promise but seemed to lack discipline on and off the field. If he corrects that issue, I still think he can make a name for himself.
Hunter would start at about half of the teams in the NFL if not nearly all of them. He’s a top 5 pick unless there’s a mad scramble for QBs2 DB spots were taken before the first press conference, Prime's son was starting a one S and Travis Hunter was starting at 1 CB. So there weren't many DB slots open, Prime may have brought more Jackson St. DB's with him who know the system. But to be fair his son and Hunter would start for alot of teams.
The overwhelming majority of football fans have no clue what they're talking about. As sad as that is to say.According to the idiots behind me at the game Saturday Smoke was a better back than C-Rod. She also said they needed to quit handing the ball to Ray Davis because it wasn't working. Yep the same one who gained 112 yards on 14 rushes. 😂😂
Or... maybe he got to Colorado and found local shopping too tantalizing to focus on the grind?Vito was dismissed from UK’s team. Maybe he transferred to the wrong spot or is hurt.
The FR RB had 4 TDs and 4 yds a carry. Smoke def isn't playingColorado's starting RB was also out as well. Smoke won't get any run.
But in the end....was Vito really that talented? Or do we live off his 4 star HS rating more than production in college?
He isnt even listedon their depth chartsmoke nor tisdalwe registered any plays in the 1st game. and as bad as colorados defense is that is pretty bad for tiz
There are all kinds of kids rated high that never pan outBased on this, sounds like you agree with some of us that a 4 star high school rating does not equate with talent.
