I caught up with 2017 Rivals250 Miami TE commit Tre McKitty yesterday after Florida State's camp. The entry in my recruiting notebook is below and the video interview is linked.
Rivals250 tight end Tre McKitty was an early commit for Miami, but that has not stopped him from taking visits. He recently went to Auburn, Mississippi State, Florida and a few others. Florida, Auburn, Tennessee and Kentucky are the biggest threats to steal the Tampa (Fla.) Tampa Catholic 2017 prospect. McKitty will be at Florida on Friday and mentioned that his relationship with assistant coach Chris Rumph is very strong. He is going to try to visit Ohio State for Friday Night Lights, but if that does not work out he will try to visit Auburn instead.
