KU FT shooters look like they bet UK to cover, thank goodness.
Younger fans not knowing the kind of favorable whistle KU got in this one makes me laugh at their naivete'.
I've been watching this happen for 40 years, folks. Don't any of you young or low-post count fellas' try to tell it to me any differently.
This ranks up there with some of those awesome games at old Stokely athletic center, where Rupp pointed out the floor being warped and how the ball just took weird bounces and telling the boys "don't let that be an excuse for losing the ball or turning it over."
Tough love Rupp, gotta love it.
But I digress.
If you can't see how awesome of a whistle KU had to have (and a flawless game from Seldon, in which they needed every bit of to beat us on their home court) then you just need to hush like the inexperienced little naive and innocent Kentucky fans that you are.
You think that game wasn't heavily influenced for a KU win, you're out of your freaking head.
Or a troll. Simple as that.
They sure better get UK this year, that's all I'm gonna say as I light my pipe with a wry grin and puff, just like my old man before he passed away, watching UK games just like I do now.

As this game was starting, my mind immediately went to Chapel Hill, 1990.

Yes. And Jay Bilis should be tied up and beaten. And I hope Wayne Selden tears his ACL. We got screwed on several calls tonight.
Everything isn't done by the book. I'm not saying these refs were crooked but I aint saying they aint either. Not all refs are by the book, Neither is every judge, cop, etc. It sure looked like something was up tonight.

I certainly wish no ill will or wish any injuries. But I'd love to see a rematch ANYTIME against THAT KU team this year in the NCAAT. Now that the rest of the country saw how gritty UK was at Allen Fieldhouse, that'll be the damned fire sure thing to make sure the NCAA T selection committee WON'T put Kentucky in their region.

Looking more like a 4 seed and facing another overall number one seed like UNC or Oklahoma in the regional semis. Maybe we can get really fortunate and get some of that tough NCAAT selection committee love and get UNC as a one seed and then KU as our three seed in the regional finals to mirror that Final Four run.
(I'm having fun with it tonight)
Remember Knight's team in 11? Yeah, looking more and more like that team and that kinda' feel to the season.

Na, it needs to be two different whistles, on for the first 30 min and one for the last 10. The officiating changed. And we didn't have guys left to adjust to it.
