Because Stoops is a clown. I literally think he's terrified to have a great offense because it's too far out of his comfort zone.
It was a shit show. All systems fail. Levis sucked. The playcalling sucked. Special teams sucked. Defense wasn’t great. crod played well.
The scheme is HORRIBLE!!!!
This OC has taken the most talent since Stoops has been here and WASTED it!!!
Compare today to what UT did against a pretty good Mizzou defense and it makes our scheme look even WORSE!!!
The Vols(whom I CAN'T STAND!!!) had 724 yds of offense which is a school record. This with a QB that was pedestrian at Va Tech and a BACKUP at UT before Heupel took over and made him into the Heisman favorite and led UT to a top 5 ranking. Oh and he done this in year 2.

He looked pretty good in the first half. Showed some unusual pocket presence and made some good throws. Missed some reads in the red zone that were costly, but still.
Then second half just looked awful. Reverted to no pocket presence. Didn't step up at all. Held the ball. Missed reads all second half. On the occasion he made the right read he missed the throw.
Just a casual observation at the game, this is the first time I didn't really see any fire in Levis. He wasn't really around coaches or teammates much. Just didn't see the competitive nature in the second half we all know and love.
We hired a guy to coach oline that accepted a high school assistant position four years ago. He was Oline coach at Kansas and they were 3-33 in that span. Do you really expect to have a good oline with that resume?
Scang didn’t exactly have an impressive resume either. He’s basically been a journeyman NFL coordinator with unimpressive results.
In the second half he was 2-10 for 18 yards .
Wow….didn’t know this at all. Stoops is in charge of this shit show and is responsible for this mess. If he doesn’t clean house after this year and put this back together the right way he really needs to go himself. 10 years of revolving assistant doors and repeatedly hiring guys who don’t know Jack is enough.
Yenser accepted a job at Enterprise High School as an assistant in Alabama in spring 2018. Ended up as a quality control coach at SMU I think instead. Kansas was terrible when he was there..Football coaching is a big buddy system and bad coaches keep popping back up regardless of results..
Staff cannot figure out How to work around a bad offensive line you would think a real short sharp passing game would be the key but yet we continue to run routes 15 and 20 yards down the field
That last quick slant by Vandy looked pretty sharp.
Maybe defenses are selling out to prevent quick slots for 5-10 yards.
