It's really hard not to be super excited about next year.
Best I remember him he is a low to the ground runner, excellent vision, strong and tough.
Let us hope its reservoir is topped off with lotion, otherwise it is going to quickly get raw the way this day is going!

With the offense Vanderbilt had, you have to be impressed with a rb that rushes for over 1000 yds coming from there.....
Devils advocate...convince me why l should be super excited? Had 4 sec games with less than 60 yds and less than 600 on the season in SEC play. Yes , I know he had a good game against us.
It’s Vandy they aren’t known for stellar teams but had a nice season last year

Got Scang out of here and Coen back. Coen has already shown that he’s willing to adapt to what he has (he initially tried more outside zone run game and then abandoned it for the most part after a couple weeks…something Scang tried to force all season). LC is willing to RPO when its what the personnel dictates bc it’s super effective in college.
Secondary is back and reinforced..Hardaway from Cincy, Tisdale healthy…

OL improving pieces (on paper at least)
……the schedule is harder and that’s the one kicker (no special team issues pun intended….on that note we got a long snapper to shore up most of that)

The staff wanted him. They have done pretty darn well in the portal. I trust them.

This guy was extremely productive running behind a very mediocre line. Tough athlete, gets yards after contact. Terrific pick up.
Great news! I trust a proven SEC transfer more than a HS senior to come in and lead our RB room.
Solid at 5-9 210. Him and Jefferson will both be strong runners.
With only 8 SEC games on the schedule he averaged 75 yards per, and that was at lowly Vandy. We shall see how he turns out but 600 yards in SEC play alone isn't bad at all, especially at Vandy.
I’m wjtb you. Not a great RB but solid kid. For sure he’s a drop off from Crod
The bright spot is he’s better than McClain and Wright who were looking like the worst Rb room in sec. Now maybe we are an average Rb room
I’m still stunned after Benny and Crod we don’t have higher recruits at TB
He's a wide zone back. Seems pretty clear we're really changing gears in the run game. I understand why coaches love it but man....idk about a complete change in identity.
He also had the worst run blocking in the SEC imo. 3/4 of his yards came after contact. That's the part that excites me. A lot like CRod where he creates the yards not just relying on blocking.
