Auburn was a bad team but they could beat people when they had Canty banking in crazy threes but they don't have him now. If Canty wasn't on their team when UK came to town they would have gotten thumped then too.

I also feel like our guys just didn't know how to win on the road at that time.

They won't get past the first day in the SECT, which makes that loss so bad. (Same for UT.)

That is what everyone is saying that Auburn is losing by 40 to Vandy in Auburn. Most of the College Basketball World didn't watch UK vs. Auburn and see Karen Canty score 26 points and most of his 3's he threw up we unbelievable that day. IF UK could have played Auburn at later date after Canty left Auburn for the season we would have won by 25-30 points in Auburn too. We had a 12 point lead in the second half when Canty went off and scored 23 of his 26 points in the 2nd half. We played great Defense in the 1st half on Canty and he only scored 3 before going off for 23 in the 2nd half. At one point Canty scored 12 straight to give Auburn a 3-point lead.
