You either win or you lose. If MSU doesn't win tonight, it will be a loss. Every team goes through the injury bug. I can assure you that we wouldn't have received any sympathy votes for not having Briscoe if we had lost to UofL.

The committee will acknowledge these games played without Valentine. A loss would affect them, but not to the same degree as if it had been incurred with Valentine on the floor.

That's a good point, as this is a tough road game anyways. It may actually be to their benefit Valentine is out.
