We have seen the corruption and listened to the taunts of UL fans first hand for years. Knew they were skimming money and intimidating people for the win at any cost mentality. Watched the local media succumb to pressure or flat out cheerleading. The local paper downgraded UK in editorials. Radio shows designed to denigrate UK. Well it's over now. Fly those blue flags. We've been liberated from oppression!

Taking pleasure in the demise of so many people's lives. This doesn't just impact the two guys fired. People that don't have a lot, but that's on you.

Whoever RP and the rest of the institution hurt that's on them. Most people celebrate when a blatant non remorseful rule breaker and morally corrupt leader of young men are brought to justice.

I prefer a positive outlook, and hope that the underage prostitution, squelched beatings, bribery, abortions, graft, dead cheerleaders not reported, multiples shootings swept under the rug, financial malfeasance and other debauchery will at long last be coming to an end.

I might have felt that way prior to 2009. When Cal was hired here, all you heard for the first seven years was how we were dirty and it was just a matter of time before we got busted. I believe it may be karma that they have been the dirtiest school in the country the whole time and they deserve everything that's coming to them.

You are right. And I just feel confident that if the situation was reversed and UK was the corrupt institution, you would still take the high ground and just hate it for all of us.

ONLY the first 7? We STILL hear it. No lie, one of ESPN'S top comments on this was something along the lines of "They should have followed Calipari and left BEFORE the punishment. You know Kentucky is cheating". ..and it didn't even shock me.

Pretty much how I feel about every other big conference school at this point:

Instead of throwing yourself a pity party, try looking in the mirror and questioning why you stood behind Pitino and Jurich scandal after scandal. Mind you I'm not talking rumors... I'm talking proven scandals

The UL faithful didn't think that RP should have been canned after the Sypher affair, or even after Katinagate. So, I guess they made their own bed. If you keep doing what you've been doing, you're going to keep getting what you've been getting. Blame your corrupt Pres. Ramsey, since he and Tommy Turtleneck backed Rick the whole way. UK fans didn't create this issue, and for the UL fans, who take every opportunity to accuse Cal and UK of cheating, well, I guess when you tossed the rocks, you didn't realize you were in a big glass house.

So you want us to feel sorry for people who turned a blind eye to win at all cost or took bribes to be a college athlete, or supported a athletic department that filled with this many scandals? Then want sympathy and play the victim card??? I guess we will be seeing you card fans post over here more often now that basketball season has been cancelled for the next few years.

Thank you Father Flanagan. You don't know my UL friends. Horrible when it comes to UK. I've got a lot of scars from them.Karma. Payback. My wife is like you. Never understood that about her. Too nice. Not me. I pouring one tonight and celebrating a victory!

Oh please. Uofl fans thought when Pitino got here, they'd have multiple titles. Didn't happen and Calipari came and Pitino, the school AND fans got desperate and went all in on the "win at all cost" mentality.

They turned their back to every sort of corruption as long as they won. Fans should have wanted him fired after the Sypher stuff and demanded him to be fired after the hooker crap. Guess what...they didn't.

They had the chance to right their program, athletic department AND school, but 99% of them ignored everything due to their obsession of not being "little brother".

So don't come on here posting your sanctimonious BS. They made their bed.

Not at all. Just going to pour a Bourbon, light a cigar and wait for the weekend and hopefully watch the UK Wildcats, Trinity Rocks and Boston Red Sox win games along with enjoying UL friends and fans squirming in the Pit of Misery.

Anyone morally bankrupt enough to associate themselves with U of L deserves what they get.
 
Joy? That doesn't work for me. Too many legit UL fans are hurting. Yea, I feel their pain.

Justice? That's my rally point. Rick selfishly spit in our face and flipped us off. UL leadership enabled his personal AMORAL slide. It took the FBI to force reaction/action. So Judgment Day has arrived and Rick's gone away in shame.

That is something to celebrate.
