Yeah, they didn't get beat by a terrible, short handed Auburn team. Accept it. That was a terrible loss and will cost us when we get our tournament seed.
One single loss in the middle of the regular season isn't going to effect the tournament seed any at all.
An Auburn team that hit 12 3's and took 31 ft's to our 17. Yes, they played out of their minds against us. That's why Pearl is occasionally one of the best coaches: he can motivate/elevate his teams to win games they shouldn't win on paper. As the saying goes, it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of his heart. Our guys hopefully are learning that lesson and will benefit down the road.

Yes, yes it will. Bad losses and good wins most definitely affect seeds. The selection committee makes that known every single year.
When we win our next 4 games, the Auburn game will be a distant memory. It will not affect our seeding come NCAA tourney time.
Just one bad loss won't have much of an impact. But the problem is that we have two bad losses with the possibility of more to come
ONE bad loss has minimal to no effect on tournament seeding, especially not one in the middle of January. ANd your comment on the selection committee is flat out a lit. Get a clue.
When we're this inconsistent and can obviously lose to anyone on a given night I give zero attention to the rankings of other teams, deserved or otherwise.
