Yes. He's good.
More NIL money?Hmmm, interesting. He played a lot for UT, why the hell do all these guys want to transfer?
Rick Barnes. Another old school coach who loves to grind on offense when he has talent to run the opponent out of the gym.Hmmm, interesting. He played a lot for UT, why the hell do all these guys want to transfer?
Absolutely ZERO interest from me
He scored a total of 8 points in the 2 games against us.He isn’t talented enough to play for Cal. Gotta be Uber talented to have any shot at overcoming Cal’s coaching.
I am glad the dude went off against Duke.
I’d love to see us run some 4 out schemes, but I just don’t think Cal has it in him. There was a lot of chatter around this time last year that we could see a lot of 4 out lineups surrounding Oscar with who we had coming in. Instead we got Livingston at the 3 and way too many minutes of some combination of Oscar, Ware, and Collins on the floor together. He would pair perfectly with Bradshaw with 4 out one in scheme where they are interchangeable. If we lose Ugonna I would go ALL in.
Why? So he can keep poutingI'd rather have Toppin back.
Sounds familiar, which begs the question - why would he want to play for Cal?Rick Barnes. Another old school coach who loves to grind on offense when he has talent to run the opponent out of the gym.
They think they can get more! It’s always greener somewhere else.Hmmm, interesting. He played a lot for UT, why the hell do all these guys want to transfer?
I agree, we have the team for it next year too.I’d love to see us run some 4 out schemes, but I just don’t think Cal has it in him. Seems wildly inconsistent. will blow up for 20 something one game then have 5 straight games of single digit scoring. Just indicates to me he can't be dominant and can only excel when he has a good matchup. He wasn't all that good when he played us.
Apparently Bradshaw can shoot, so if you add a PF that can also shoot, you can go 5 out. Doesn't mean Bradshaw has to just take a bunch of threes, but if he's out there, his guy has to leave the paint to go out and guard him.He would pair perfectly with Bradshaw with 4 out one in scheme where they are interchangeable. You just explained almost every kid Cal brings to UK. Maxey blew up on Michigan State, then disappeared for a while. Monk did that too.Seems wildly inconsistent. will blow up for 20 something one game then have 5 straight games of single digit scoring. I agree with everything you said….BUT if you go 5 out you give up a ton of offensive rebounding opportunities and I just can’t see Cal punting on offensive rebounding. It’s historically been such a huge part of his offensive philosophy. I love this kid next to Bradshaw so much because he can rebound well by himself down low.Apparently Bradshaw can shoot, so if you add a PF that can also shoot, you can go 5 out. With Dillingham and Wagner in a horn set, they would only need to beat one guy to get to the cup.
I'd be all over this kid, we know he's SEC caliber, we know he can play D, we know he can rebound, we know he can shoot and we know he's durable, sign him up.
KU plays 5 out, they outrebounded us and took Oscar right out of the game.I agree with everything you said….BUT if you go 5 out you give up a ton of offensive rebounding opportunities and I just can’t see Cal punting on offensive rebounding. Don't have any idea if there is interest on either side.Sounds familiar, which begs the question - why would he want to play for Cal?
Well, he’s a similar player to Livingston, only this kid has parents that allow him to play the 4.I’d take him in a second. He’s basically a bigger/bit better shooting version of Livingston. He’s a better 3pt shooter than his percentage showed this year. His main knock is consistency. But he’s got over 100 games experience, is 6’9 235lbs of muscle that can play in the paint or outside.
Not possible. Need to move on. Toppin wanted to leave last year.I'd rather have Toppin back.
Let me fix it for you. Nearly EVERY player is inconsistent, especially FR. Even Bama's all-american Miller was just as streaky this year as Reeves from 3.You just explained almost every kid Cal brings to UK. Maxey blew up on Michigan State, then disappeared for a while. Monk did that too.
It happens when you're at the top of everyone's scouting report.
That was UT's whole team, except maybe Vescovi. Maybe it's how Barnes coaches, IDK.Seems wildly inconsistent. will blow up for 20 something one game then have 5 straight games of single digit scoring. Why make a FALSE statistical claim?just based off of the stats no. I don't want another 4 who cant shoot 3s Hes shooting 33.3%,that translates to 28% here.
Toppin is soft as Charmin......Ultra.I'd rather have Toppin back.
That was Plavisch? That hit the Duke playerHe busted Filipowski pretty hard. No idea if UK would reach out but he’s good enough to play at UK
