USC Beats Down #5 Arizona

UNC won against Duke at Cameron today. I think they are in the driver’s seat, but UT is next in line if they stumble. I doubt it though, UNC should coast to the ACC tourney finals. And even a loss to Duke after beating them twice won’t hurt them.

I’m saying:

East- UConn
Midwest- Purdue
South- Houston
West- UNC

UT probably gets the 2 in the South. That might be better than being sent out west.

Yep. And I see us as the 3 seed in the midwest with Iowa St as the 2 seed.

I think the strength of the SEC gives UT the nod over UNC. ACC was just too weak IMO to give a 3 loss champ the 1 seed. Now if UNC wins the ACCT (very likely) and UT loses game 1 of the SECT then I could see UNC making that leap but as of today I think UT still holds the spot and just need to make the championship game to hold onto it.

I would say give UK a 3 out west then but that could mean facing Arizona in sweet 16 and then unc in elite 8. Neither team scary but back to back could be difficult.

Gonna come down to who wins their conference tournament between UNC, UT and Arizona.
It would be great to see teams like Arizona, Duke, Baylor, Illinois, Marquette & Creighton fall in their first Conference Tournament game. Kentucky then go on a run to the SEC Tournament Championship adding to their resume and those teams can't do anything to add to improve their resume. Multiple losses for Kentucky can be chalked up to injuries to key players plus not having Big Z for over half of a season. Kentucky should be viewed in a different light when evaluating the teams I mentioned above with a similar record. They are a much better team with everyone now back on the court.

I’d take that draw, honestly UNC is the best team for us to face assuming we get a fair whistle(prolly not) but they will run and not muck a game up at least.

I would think if UT is the top 2 they’ll go to Detroit instead of Dallas.

Somebody's going to go West...geographically speaking who else would it be?

Besides, the games are now pod based, so it doesn't really matter like it used to.

I thought it was come first serve. Say purdues top 1 they want Detroit, then Houston next and they want Dallas and then uconn and they want Boston.

Unc or UT gets leftover slot and sent out west with Zona as 2.

Purdue will likely be the 3rd 1 seed...

Match ups are just as important if not more so...would you rather go west to play two games against weaker opponents? Especially with pods. Ncca money whore$ can punish you by the teams they stick in your region, they care more about the matchup$.

UT is a 2 unless the tarholes shit the acc tourney bed.

Bronny had 5 in this one and he was the headline photo for ESPNs IG post about the upset, lol
