Is that karma at work?

In a related twist: (from the article with the vid:)
"A lawsuit filed by six women who claim they were defamed by being depicted in the book wearing lingerie and dancing at parties in Minardi Hall was allowed by Perry to continue."

It is not a dead horse.

Kinda refresher video (like anyone forgot:))

another good vid:

NSFW, Contains ceiling ref, among other things.

Edit: If you have the time, you will enjoy listening to the 4 parts of that interview. Maybe, not.

So,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, when is someone going to sue Roy and the Ram Club. If ever a degree has been devalued it's one from UNC. The university should give the students a rebate for the last 20 years of their complicity.

If the suit had gone forward, Shunnarah said the students had planned to call two expert witnesses, including a business evaluation expert "who will place loss of value" upon a degree from UofL after the scandal.

The other expert was a psychologist who "was expected to testify that the students have experienced and suffered depression, anxiety, stress and ridicule," Shunnarah wrote. "Their hard work and money have been spent for a University of Louisville education which is now tainted."

When wearing UofL logos and other attire, Shunnarah wrote, students are sometimes approached by strangers in public who make "rude and hateful remarks." For example, Shunnarah said people call UofL a "slut school" and even some family members of the students no longer support the university, according to the motion.

"There are even those who now boycott the school and its activities," Shunnarah wrote.

Tink, (sp?)has to feel slighted. It was his barbershop. He was the Link. "Tink, the Barbershop Link" is not getting his due. Listen at the ~3:20 at the part 1 vid linked above, for the sound bite.

Plot for another Barbershop movie?

I'm confused. Was this statement made after the Becca Mann pictorial, the Sypher ordeal, or when Katina's book came out?

The students should have sued the UL Athletic Department. The Athletic Department is who is responsible for the deterioration of the UL Brand. The students probably had some standing against the Athletic Department.

Serious question. How does Pitino still have a job? I'm not a Pitino hater and appreciate his time at UK. No coach should be employed after this scandal.

$50M buyout in a contract that says they have to prove he was involved in any infractions leveled by the NCAA. And it's Louisville. Don't think they would fire him if he had a $50 buyout.

U of L insisted that moral clauses be in Pitino's contract but they refused to enforce them in Sypher scandal. Instead, they took a stance of forgive and forget, now that you have admitted your mistake.
"When Pitino’s extramarital affair and alleged abortion hush money originally came to light, speculation ran rampant that Lousiville would part ways with the coaching legend by
invoking one, if not both, of his morals clauses. Pursuant to Section 6.1.8, Louisville could have argued that committing adultery and allegedly paying someone for an abortion was tantamount
to “willful misconduct that could objectively be anticipated to bring him into public disrepute or scandal”;
pursuant to Section 6.1.2, the university had the plausible argument that such acts, in addition to Pitino’s overall dishonesty, were of “moral depravity.” Nonetheless, Pitino’s job at Louisville has, to this day, remained intact.
In his reasoning as to why Louisville would not rid itself of Pitino, University of Louisville President James Ramsey stated, “[a]s we try to teach our students, when you make a mistake you admit it and right it as best you can. Coach has done that today "

50 mil $ Blunder.
